COMMUNICATIVE LANGUAGE APPROACH IN TEACHING ENGLISH.STUDENTS LEAD THE CLASS!!

During the last years, research on education has proven that the English language can not be taught deductively, not by rules or patterns. Second language learners need to build on ideas and rethink rules inductively, that is with real life examples. There are so many strategies that help students learn grammar easily. This time I assigned topics and students´groups. Students´responsibility was to carry out their 45-minutes class inductively, assess peers´  knowledge, give the corresponding feedback and check on their´understanding.
This was a great opportunity  to make my students  feel responsible for their group work, roles and peers´´assessments.

Sharing ideas and working in groups enhance learning.
Peer group.

 Presentations with great technology resources.

Proper use of powerpoint. Ideas limited and content.

At the end of the activities, rules were explained. Audience was respected,
preenters  did not read aloud from slides

Sharing ideas in groups.

Teachers monitoring students´work

Paying attention to explanations.

Extrinsic motivation is important. Don´t forget!

BLUE IDIOMS -Great way to learn one each student.  "Feel blue,"  "Once in a blue moon,  Happen out  of the blue..."

We talked about interesting information and some facts about this colorful color!
According to information, orange stimulates acativity, appetite]!!!and great for socialization in class (noisy ,be careful!!!) Great day talking about orange.
